Covid-19

This page has been added to provide a “one-stop shop” for information about our Covid-19 plans.

With the continued implementation of vaccinations and boosters for an increasing percentage of the population, most regulations have been withdrawn and government advice is directed at living safely with respiratory infections, of which Covid-19 is a particular case.

In line with this change of emphasis the Hall has withdrawn the Covid-19 Special Conditions of Hall Hire, Audio/Video protocol and most of the physical mitigation measures. Our Covid Risk Assessment is no longer applicable.

We continue to display posters reminding hirers to consider their obligations to hall users who may be vulnerable, or cautious about the risk of infection. We also provide sanitising and cleaning materials for use by hirers.

If in doubt as to whether you can safely hire the hall, we recommend you carry out a risk assessment for your activity, taking particular note of any guidance given by your national association (if applicable). We have provided a sample Hirer Risk Assessment that you can adapt to your particular circumstances. There is also a link to an FAQs page.

Links to the most relevant government advice are provided at the bottom of the page, but note these are not exhaustive.

We hope you find the information useful.

The hall is fully open for all our usual activities.
